About Marti Gottsch

My connection with flowers started with my mom; the weekends we spent planting peonies and pansies, numerous trips to the nursery; it is where my love of the ground began. She taught me how to cut, treat, and arrange flowers, it was just one of her creative super powers. I am trained as an architect and spend my weekdays designing space. This practice informs how I design for events as well; it assists in understanding the environment and accentuating it with shapes, florals, and plants. I balance my worlds of built and natural with my morning trips to the Flower District on 28th Street in Manhattan. For years I have built relationships and connections through flowers.
